Will Kinney - Brand Plucked Ministry
KJV Bible Believer
From Will Kinney’s website — Another King James Bible Believer
“Hello and welcome to my (Will Kinney’s) website. Several years ago I became interested in the Bible version issue. After much study and prayer I am convinced God's pure, perfect and preserved words in English are found only in the Authorized King James Bible.
Feel free to use or distribute any of these articles you think will be of help to others in defending and believing that the King James Holy Bible is the complete, inspired, inerrant, 100% historically true and doctrinally pure words of the living God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. "Freely ye have received, freely give." Matthew 10:8
I welcome any comments, questions or suggestions you might have concerning this most important issue. "Thy words were found, and I did eat them; and thy word was unto me the joy and rejoicing of mine heart: for I am called by thy name, O LORD God of hosts." Jeremiah 15:16”
Last week I highlighted the ministry of Christian J. Pinto - Noise Of Thunder Radio/Adullam Films.

This week I’d like to highlight the ministry of Will Kinney. Here’s a link to his website.

Over the many years of my salvation, I’ve been greatly interested in the Bible translation topic. When I started my trek into the world of textual criticism, I was filled with wonder, joy, and great excitement. It was thrilling to think that I was going to dig into God’s Word by plummeting the realm of the “original” languages.
I naively had absolutely no idea the gigantic rabbit hole I was about to descend.
The more involved I became with the issue of “original” manuscripts and translations, the more I saw it wasn’t going to be the summer walk in the woods I thought it would be. I soon found myself bogged down in a quagmire of information. In hind sight … it would have been more promising to help Indiana Jones find the lost Ark than to find some “original” manuscripts.
I’ll try to spare you decades of things I could say by saying right up front:
THERE AIN’T NO SUCH THING AS THE “ORIGINAL MANUSCRIPTS.” The “originals” are all looooooong gone. When I finally realized that, it was devastating.
Why?
Because pastors, professors, Bible commentators, study Bibles kept referring to the “original” texts/manuscripts — of which there were none. They’d say things like: “In the original it says ….” I knew they meant well and weren’t purposely trying to mislead anyone but … I got to wondering …?
Thankfully, however, over the years I’ve come to understand that I don’t have to be all consumed with the “original” manuscripts aspect.
Why?
Because it seems Yeshua and Paul didn’t have any issue with the fact they didn’t posses “original” manuscripts either.
Matthew 22:29 - “Jesus answered and said unto them, Ye do err, not knowing the scriptures, nor the power of God.”
Romans 1:1-3 — “Paul, a servant of Jesus Christ, called to be an apostle, separated unto the gospel of God, 2 (Which he had promised afore by his prophets in the holy scriptures,) 3 Concerning his Son Jesus Christ our Lord, which was made of the seed of David according to the flesh.” (Paul writing to the Romans)
II Timothy 3:15-17 — “And that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus. 16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: 17 That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works.”
Paul and Yeshua never felt the need to say: “In the original ….” They, for one, knew better than to say anything as ignorant as that. They had complete confidence that God could, and would, preserve His Word. Interestingly, the Word made flesh (Yeshua) had no problem referring to an “UNoriginal” text as Scripture.
Please let me say, unequivocally, that I believe the King James Bible to be the inspired Word of God. And, I also believe it is THE Bible that God has given to the English speaking world to carry forth His message of redemption around the world in the last days.
Let me also say, I am not a KJV Only fanatic. Explanation …
I was turned off, initially, to the idea that God preserved His Word only in the KJV. Primarily because a bunch of people were backing their KJV Only belief by saying things like:
“If it was good enough for my grandma, bless God, it’s good enough for me.” Or, “If it was good enough for the Apostle Paul, bless God, it’s good enough for me.”
I decided that, if I was going to honestly consider this issue, I had to hang my hat on something less precarious. I needed substance.
Hence …
When it comes to the KJV issue there aren’t many ministries that I trust and respect. Will Kinney (as well as Pinto) is at the top of the list.
Last week I stated there are three things I look for when evaluating any ministry — and ours as well. They are true of this beloved brother. Let me quote what I wrote:
“When considering a ministry from which I’ll personally get input, I try to look for balance, the kind of spirit that permeates it, and its objectivity toward the Scriptures. As I’ve said before, I believe Yeshua was perfect in all three of these. That said, I realize the rest of us are mere humans subject to our own biases and blind spots.”
If you are at all interested in this issue (and you should be) please look into the articles Kinney has written. Also, you can see him on YouTube as well as listen to him.
A word of caution:
If your only interest is to prove him wrong, then please don’t bother. You don’t need to get your blood pressure up any more than it is.
A word of encouragement:
If, however, you’re looking for someone you can respect and trust to present a viable option for your consideration, then dive in head first.
My desire is to help you through the weeds of the translation debacle. I hope to do that, in part, by pointing you to the ONE translation you CAN actually hold in your hands with the full conviction that it is the Inerrant Word of God in the English language.
I’m so glad I found my way back out of that confounded original manuscripts/translation rabbit hole. I promise you, that if you begin the descent, you’ll come to realize there’s no bottom to that hole. And in the end, I’m not sure your faith will be the better for it.
PS: I long for the days when gospel preaching churches, and our nation, placed its trust in the King James Bible. I kind of think we were less confused and much better off back then.
