"Virginia Health Commissioner Plans to Mandate COVID-19 Vaccine"
“Virginia’s health commissioner said he intends to require people to be immunized for the CCP virus once a vaccine becomes available to the public, crystallizing fears that Americans will be forced to be vaccinated.
“Dr. Norman Oliver told Richmond news station 8 News that such a mandate wouldn’t happen until the vaccine is “proven to be safe.”
“Virginia law currently allows the commissioner to require immediate vaccination in the case of an epidemic. Exceptions are granted only if a physician has certified in writing that the administration of a vaccine would be detrimental to a patient.”

Here they are:
#1 - We’re actually in the death throes of a quantifiable worldwide Pandemic??
OK then …
#2 - Remember the movie line: “Show me the money!”
*Well … show me the proof!
*Before you read what I say next, please understand that I AM NOT intending to sound insensitive or uncaring. — I don’t personally know any person that has gotten this virus, gotten even a little sick from this virus, come close to dying from this virus, or has died from this virus. But In my regular experience with the yearly flu season (in which a lot of people do get sick and/or die), I will at least know a few people that have gotten sick.
#3 - “Proven to be safe”
*How will we know for sure the vaccine has been “proven to be safe”?
*How long does it normally take for a vaccine, a mandated vaccine no less, to be “proven to be safe”?
*Will there be full disclosure of the facts verified by an independent group of pro-vaccine and anti-vaccine experts/doctors?
*I thought we’ve been assured that masks and “social distancing” are already protecting us from spreading and getting COVID?
#4 - And along those lines, I do have what I consider a couple of reasonable and serious concerns —
*Why is it that, as long as we’re eating and/or drinking in a restaurant or food court or sitting shoulder-to-shoulder on bar stools at the local pub, we’re safe from this virus? But, on the other hand, we are in danger when we enter the facility — until we’re seated??
(Prediction: The people that will require proof the vaccine is “proven to be safe” before taking it (or not) will be maligned, vilified and ostracized as only caring for themselves and not for others. There will develop, intentionally, a two-tier caste systematization: The “good guys” and the “bad guys.” Actually that is already happening now, isn’t it?
#5 - This still IS America. However, it’s not feeling like, nor looking like, “the land of the free and the home of the brave” that I grew up in. I’m feeling the least free that I’ve ever felt in my 66 years. And, where the heck has all the bravery gone! I’m finding it extremely alarming how quickly we have given up our freedoms and lost our bravery. Something is not right with all of this.
These concerns and questions are the basic “Wet Paint” sign conundrum all over again. We need to be brave. It’s OK to question. As a matter of fact, it’s our duty.
But when the day comes (sooner than later, it appears) that we can no longer question our leaders, local authorities, and elected officials — we’re doomed and damned as the America of our Founding Fathers. I fear we as a nation are failing them. They deserve better from us.
