Incurable Wound
Micah 1
1 The word of the Lord that came to Micah the Morasthite in the days of Jotham, Ahaz, and Hezekiah, kings of Judah, which he saw concerning Samaria and Jerusalem.
2 Hear, all ye people; hearken, O earth, and all that therein is: and let the Lord God be witness against you, the Lord from his holy temple.
3 For, behold, the Lord cometh forth out of his place, and will come down, and tread upon the high places of the earth.
4 And the mountains shall be molten under him, and the valleys shall be cleft, as wax before the fire, and as the waters that are poured down a steep place.
5 For the transgression of Jacob is all this, and for the sins of the house of Israel. What is the transgression of Jacob? is it not Samaria? and what are the high places of Judah? are they not Jerusalem?
6 Therefore I will make Samaria as an heap of the field, and as plantings of a vineyard: and I will pour down the stones thereof into the valley, and I will discover the foundations thereof.
7 And all the graven images thereof shall be beaten to pieces, and all the hires thereof shall be burned with the fire, and all the idols thereof will I lay desolate: for she gathered it of the hire of an harlot, and they shall return to the hire of an harlot.
8 Therefore I will wail and howl, I will go stripped and naked: I will make a wailing like the dragons, and mourning as the owls.
9 For her wound is incurable; for it is come unto Judah; he is come unto the gate of my people, even to Jerusalem.

*It’s bred into the American psyche to always “hope” that no matter how awful things get, we will always pull through and thrive. That’s who we are; that’s the American way.
*It’s also bred into the American psyche that God will always look down and smile upon us no matter our condition morally or spiritually. That’s who God is; that’s His way.
In my lifetime, this mindset has become increasingly prevalent to the point of delusion and has devolved into the Deification of Humanism. We have become our own gods.

A growing portion of our populace has relegated most everything into a “no sin” category. Even the conservative unsaved people I listen to and read have failed to grasp that man, apart from God, is horrifically inept and prone to self-destruct. Once mankind denigrates the Law/Torah of God, all the sophisticated technology in the world will not avail.
Granted, there may be times of respite when, after “pandemics” have run their course, we will get back on our feet again. But don’t be deceived, God will not be mocked. This world is getting dangerously close to a face-to-face conflict with Almighty God. The Book of Revelation makes that graphically real. The end will come and it is going to be horrific.

Have you noticed an important aspect all the major news outlets and talk hosts (good and bad) ignore as they present their perspective view points?
What is purposefully left out?
What has become peripheral that had been integral?
Think.
The younger you are the more difficult it might be to notice it. Why? Because you don’t have the point of reference like previous generations had until now.
So, what is being ignored? …
God, the Lord Jesus Christ, and the Bible. In other words, the historical spiritual moorings that guided this country in the past are conspicuously absent.
What’s the result?
Humanism (man independent of God) has won the day.

From the late 1800s to this day, satanically dark, well-known personalities have used their influence and affluence to slowly shape us into one common agenda that suites their personal desires and ambitions.
It’s not been easy for the average person to recognize them for what they are: pure evil. They mask themselves as upstanding humanitarians and philanthropists. It’s a lie, a cover-up. They are opportunists that will stop at nothing to acquire and subdue solely for their benefit, not ours.
——————————
We are living in times of great darkness globally. What’s astounding to me is that seemingly very few people sense it, see it. I can understand that the unsaved among us are clueless. They are manipulated and controlled by the Prince of Darkness.
But, God’s people are not in darkness. In Christ, we are no longer directly under Satan’s influence like we were prior to salvation.
But here’s what’s happening instead …
*We are choosing to not sense
and
*We are choosing to not see.
We, God’s people, have willingly taken on our own levels of personal darkness. Through increased integration into the fabric of the world, we’ve lost perspective concerning our true spiritual condition — from the pulpit to the pew.
Of course, that’s not applicable to you or to me. It’s everyone else. Those other Christians, those other believers … you know, everyone else.
But that’s the problem. We don’t see it in ourselves like we “see” it in everyone else. And as long as we measure ourselves against each other and not against the Word … it will always be everyone else but us.
——————————
That brings me to this.
In the passage from Micah, the incurable wound is in relation to God’s people in particular. That being the case I’d like to submit that …
The darker God’s people become, so goes the world.
And all the while, we continually point our collective finger at the world when in reality … if we had been doing our jobs all along, the darkness would have been kept at bay.
The reason it hasn’t?
We don’t really want to live at the level of discipleship our Saviour has called us to.
Such as:
*Living dead.
++I die daily.
*Being hated by the world rather than endeavoring to be accepted by the world.
*Exposing sin rather than slipping into sin ourselves.
Our personnel ingestion of the Word of God, coupled with our ability to model it and communicate it, is of key importance to every aspect of humanity’s need.
We are the hope-bringers and the hope-givers. But unless our focus becomes more vertical and less horizontal, we aren’t good for much of anything except to be trodden under foot of men.
——————————
Brethren, we have our task cut out for us. The Body of Messiah desperately needs to make its influence pertinent and relevant. A world-wide grip of darkness is descending. Now is our time to prepare.
And coincidentally,
That which the Book of Revelation reveals concerning the inauguration of Anti-Christ’s global take over when he arrives on the scene …
Looks amazingly similar to what we are undergoing at this moment. Revelation just might be arriving sooner than we think.
But in the meantime,
Don’t be lulled into a sense of false security. Let the Saviour increase His light within you. As you do, you’ll help expose the darkness and bring healing to man’s …
