90,000 x 12 = 1,080,000 per year
And we expect, almost demand, God to bless a nation that kills 1 MILLION unborn babies yearly??!!

It’s beyond time that we stop trying to convince ourselves that we live in anything other than a God-hating, Christ-rejecting, Bible-banning pagan nation.
We wonder in amazement at the people during the Old Testament times that sacrificed their children to pagan deities, right? Then why doesn’t that kind of logic and vitriol spill over into our feelings, thoughts, and emotions about the United States of America.
Plus, that’s not even bringing Israel into this equation.
America and Israel are under the condemnation and judgment of Almighty God and He isn’t going to let up until His justice is meted out in full. And, this is just one of the flagrant ways we’ve been slapping God in the face for YEARS!
If you think otherwise, you are deceived. Said more specifically: You’ve allowed yourself to be deceived. And, you continue to allow yourself to be deceived.
Ever read these verses from Galatians 6?
7 Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.
8 For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting.

Our indifference and our complacency about facing ourselves — taking a good long hard look at ourselves — is jeopardizing not only the unborn but, the eternity of those all around us. Have we forgotten Matthew 6:24?
“No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon.”
Could it be we’re trying to keep a tight grip on the Golden Goose of our American lifestyle while we endeavor to keep our mouths shut for fear of intimidation, alienation, rejection and quite possibly persecution?
We do, in all actuality, want our God and our mammon, don’t we? Think carefully before you blurt out your response.

As I’m wont to say, I’m pointing the finger first-and-foremost at myself.
But I’ve come to realize that isn’t enough. I can no longer console myself with my own personal finger pointing while doing nothing to move forward.
So … now? How am I proceeding from this point? What small, but effective, thing can I/we do?
Answer:
In discussions involving America, whether among the lost or the saved, here’s what I’m doing —
I avail myself of the opportunity to speak and explain my perspective concerning America’s sustainability. That’s the door of opportunity I now step through. Whether it’s with a Christian or an unbeliever, I present my thoughts. I don’t preach and I do it succinctly.
Here is the general line of thought I present:

* There’s no hope for America, period.
{I follow that up immediately with the following}
* Biblically {and I do say that} two things get God really PO’d {and I do say that}
+Shedding of innocent blood = abortion; the killing of unborn babies. God only forgives the shedding of innocent blood by shedding the blood of those that have caused the bloodshed.
AND …
+Biblical immorality = LGBTQ …. God takes immorality very seriously.
You can only give God the finger for so long before He decides to act.

… That might not be the template you want of adopt. But, come up with something of your own that is going to grab people’s attention and force them to think — about God and the Bible.

Close to 30 years ago, a very close family member was pushing another very close family member to get an abortion. I said, in no uncertain terms, there was no way that baby was going to be killed. I dogmatically stated that Judy and I would take that child as ours.
Happy ending?
Yes, that child is alive today and living with the parents. I’d like to think this happened, in part, because I forced the issue and called it what it really is: murder.

You can’t do much, you say? OK, perhaps. But maybe (if at all possible) you could help towards saving that one life that comes within the scope of your influence.
Our consternation?
Losing the relationship with that person who disapproves of our view and chooses to have nothing to do with us from that point on.
That was my fear. I was risking close family censorship and being disowned (even more so) if what I said went the wrong direction. But thankfully, it didn’t. But … it very well could have.

In those moments when we wrestle with ourselves, when we are hesitant to open our mouth to speak God’s truth, we step back and be honest concerning our failure to say ... anything, something.
I’ve done that and I can trowfully say that initially I wasn’t very proud of myself. But, that was the fist step in a progressive move toward:
As I said above:
Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.
For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting.
Let’s open our collective mouths and sow the Word of God, shall we?
